Objectives
Project objectives
The general objective of the project is: the creation
of a collaborative platform for the management of knowledge, information,
competencies, expertise and partnerships in the agro-food R&D.
The specific objectives of the project are the
follows:
1. establishing definitions, rules and functional procedures of
the collaborative system for knowledge management
2. modeling
organizational structures and processes comprising the collaborative system for
knowledge management
3. implementation of
the collaborative platform prototype and dissemination of results.
Activities
Organizing the project:
Establishing the set of definitions, rules
and procedures for the knowledge management system; identification and
establishing of the involvement level of the possible beneficiaries (research
communities)
Defining the components of
the knowledge management system (competencies, patents, experiences, best
practices, research projects). Establishing the types of electronic
documents containing knowledge which will be loaded in the system
Defining the attributions of various
participants for the design of the knowledge management system (users, experts,
system administration
Defining and validating the configuration
rules (communities, processes, activities, types of documents, workflows)
Configuration and validation of system
configuration on the collaborative platform
Configuration of prototype
Data Loading
Proof of prototype operability
Concluding agreements for system and data use
in an extended research network.
